I’m just returning now from the amazing production of the US Open of Surfing in Huntington Beach. Hurley and the gang have done it again. What an event- a cultural surfing circus! Over the week long festival, 500,000 visitors will experience the US Open. You should be one of those.

As a partner in Hurley’s H2O initiative, The Ecology Center is honored to participate in such a grand event. Given our mutual commitment to promoting ecological awareness, disposable water bottles are banned at this years US Open. In turn, H2O and The Ecology Center are providing free water to those with reusable bottles and selling bottles to those who don’t. Throughout the week, thousands will interact with H2O, some surfers, the rest the general public as drinking water at the US Open becomes an educational opportunity to be part of the solution!
