Backyard Skills: Seed to Vase Fresh Wreath

Using fresh florals grown on the farm, boughs of greenery, and wire to wrap it all together, we will learn classic techniques for crafting fresh holiday wreaths. This creation will last for up to 8 weeks to adorn your front door and welcome all who stop by.

This workshop will be led by our Flower Program Manager, Carra, who oversees our farm’s organic flower program from seed to vase. After a field walk to ignite inspiration by from our 70+ flower varieties, Carra will lead you through this project, sharing her expertise in shaping, twisting, and color combining. Carra will be available to answer any other questions you have about your own flower gardens and aspirations. Learning these traditional techniques helps us to connect back to the land and to our roots and lineage as makers, crafters, and plant people!
