Community Seed Swap

June 12 @ 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm

Seeds in farmer's hand

Swapping Seeds and Connecting our Community

In celebration of seeds, plants, and wonderful food, we will be hosting a quarterly seed swap for friends and neighbors of the farm. All are welcome to share, swap, pass, and trade seeds and stories. We invite you to bring your seed library- whether it is a humble collection or a well-seasoned crate of many varieties.

For the last few months, we have been hosting Seed Connection – a free Saturday morning workshop for our community. Our hope is to help train up the skills and tools to create more self-sufficiency in our gardens, more passion and knowledge about sacred seeds, and eventually create a cohort of seed savers and growers in South OC. We’d especially like to invite anyone who has participated in a Seed Connection workshop this season. Let’s come together as a larger community to celebrate seasonal abundance and take time to pause and reflect on all we have learned together so far.

Whether you are an experienced seed saver or a new gardener, seed swaps offer the opportunity to nurture a network of change-makers. We invite all to the table to enjoy the wonders of this age-old event!

With summer around the corner, we invite you to bring your favorite mid and late summer varieties. But all seeds are acceptable and welcomed! Organic preferred. This is our first seed swap of what we hope will become a quarterly offering.

Seed Connection is made possible by Wild Wisdom Foundation and Annie Dunne.
