What to bring: This event will be held outdoors, please dress accordingly. Appetizers, drinks and a copy of Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat will be provided with ticket purchase.
Parking: Please park in the back lot behind our barn. Upon arrival, follow the wayfinding signs to the parking lot. Parking is limited at The Ecology Center, please feel free to park on Camino Del Avion (street parking) if there are no spots in the lot.
Photos: We will be taking pictures and possibly video to use on our website, social and other educational media, and by registering for this event you agree to our photo/video release policy.
Meet Samin Nosrat: chef, teacher and critically acclaimed author of Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat
Samin Norsat is one of the greatest culinary pioneers of this generation and a TIME top 100 most influential people of 2019. Her book is the New York Times Bestselling, James Beard Award-winning Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat: Mastering the Elements of Good Cooking. She is also one of five food columnists for the New York Times Magazine and is the host and executive producer of the Netflix original documentary series based on her book.
Join us at the Ecology Center on June 30th to enjoy drinks and hors d’oeuvres based on recipes from Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat, meet Samin and watch her speak about her book and life and answer questions from guests. Each guest will receive a signed copy of the book from Samin.
