What to bring:
This workshop will be held outdoors. Don’t forget your sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, and your reusable water bottle. Otherwise, The Ecology Center will provide all necessary materials.

Picnic:
Please feel free to bring a picnic to enjoy with your family! But don’t forget to leave the single-use plastics at home.

We will be taking photos and possibly video to use on our website, social media, and other media outlets. By registering for this event you agree to our photo/video release policy.

Weekends On The Farm

Every Saturday and Sunday – explore The Ecology Center and all it has to offer! Saturdays are our Farm Festival Days, While Sundays are open for self-guided exploration. Be sure to check our calendar for workshops and events happening every weekend!

This weekend

SATURDAY

  • Eco-Tots (10:00 – 11:30) Every Saturday, join our eco-experts in the garden for Eco-Tots! This creative workshop involves nature-based play, guided farm chores, and a seasonal ‘maker’ activity. Sign-Up is required (Ages 5 and under.)
  • Seed Circle (12:00 – 2:00 PM) – Join us at our donation-based DIY skill station to experience a hands-on activity led by our eco-experts. (No age limit)
  • Farm Tour (12:00 PM – 1:00 PM) – Learn about seasonal crops and to taste what’s growing in the fields during our docent-led tour.
  • Seasonal Tastings (10:00 AM – 4:00 PM): Visit the Farm Stand for rotating selection of seasonal tastings.

SUNDAY

  • Seed Circle (12:00 – 2:00 PM) – Join us at our donation-based DIY skill station to experience a hands-on activity led by our eco-experts. (No age limit)
  • Farm Tour (12:00 PM – 1:00 PM) – Learn about seasonal crops and to taste what’s growing in the fields during our docent-led tour.
  • Seasonal Tastings (10:00 AM – 4:00 PM): Visit the Farm Stand for rotating selection of seasonal tastings.

  • Strawberry U-Pick (9:00 – 4:00)Pick your own strawberries fresh off of the field!
  • Eco-Tots (10:00 – 11:30) Every Saturday, join our eco-experts in the garden for Eco-Tots! This creative workshop involves nature-based play, guided farm chores, and a seasonal ‘maker’ activity. Sign-Up is required (Ages 5 and under.)
  • Chef Demo (10:00 – 12:00) – get inspired with creative recipes!
  • Live Music: (10:00 – 1:00)

RSVP is only necessary for Eco-Tots, otherwise, we’ll see you at the farm! Can’t join us on Saturday! Visit us on Sunday from 10-2 PM.
