“Through gathering creative communities we help preserve culture, create local economy and foster connection with the makers of our products.” – Kristin Morrison, Handmade Makers Market Founder
Here at The Ecology Center we provide Creative Solutions for Thriving on Planet Earth. In our fourth year of Handmade: A Maker’s Market we examine how indigenous craft and technology has helped preserve culture. Focusing on four distinct trades PLANT, WOOD, FIBER, & CLAY/METAL curated artisans produce goods that are functional, well designed and sourced organically while implementing techniques passed down through generations.
We invite you to join us at The Ecology Center on Saturday, November 11th, 2017 from 11am-5pm. Supporting local artisans and their craft is a vote to further out positive impact on Planet Earth. We will celebrate community and the individuals who make our village stronger.
Together, we will celebrate community and the individuals who make them. The market will be open at 10am to The Ecology Center members for a special members-only market preview. Want to learn more about membership? Click here.
This event is free, but please RSVP so we know how many community members to expect.
