Immerse yourself in a master cooking class with Samin Nosrat, author and host of "Salt, Fat, Heat, Acid," and Jennifer Sherman, co-chef and general manager of Chez Panisse in Berkeley, Ca.

Guests will embark on a day of creative exploration and education, learning the secrets of salt, fat, acid, and heat. The meal will begin in the garden with the foraging of fresh ingredients from The Ecology Center’s 28-acre organic community farm, and will conclude with a farm-to-table meal prepared by Samin and Jennifer with active participation from attendees.

On Sunday, June 30th, we invite you to join us at The Ecology Center for the culinary experience of a lifetime. Proceeds for this event benefit The Ecology Center’s upcoming Feast Verde summer education program for
 underserved, low-income youth.

The two-part event will begin with an immersive master cooking class with Samin and Jennifer Sherman, co-chef and general manager of Berkeley's Chez Panisse restaurant, followed by a book signing and
 meet-and-greet cocktail reception with Samin.
