|1 cup||balsamic vinegar|
|1 lb||large strawberries, stemmed and quartered lengthwise|
|½ lbs||chèvre style goat cheese, crumbled|
|–||black pepper, freshly ground|
|¼||bunch of fresh cilantro, rinsed and stems removed|
In a medium pan, heat balsamic vinegar and honey on medium-low. Allow to thicken until mixture resembles syrup, about 15-20 minutes. Set aside.
Place the strawberries on a tray. Add freshly ground black pepper to taste. Drizzle strawberries with the balsamic reduction, crumble goat cheese over strawberries, and garnish with cilantro.
