Let’s Dig In!

Get your hands in the soil, serve your community, and help transform our ecosystem! At The Ecology Center, we believe in a culture that gives more than it takes. Our volunteers support this vision by taking action in our garden and on the farm, in the kitchen, at events and workshops, and across our properties. The generosity of our volunteers inspires us all to be part of the solution. Together, we can make a big impact and inspire change, let’s dig in!

Join a Volunteer Team

There are many ways to be a part of our volunteer community. Join us in building pathways towards a more abundant future.

Orchard Ohana

Our Tuesday morning volunteer crew is dedicated to our fruit trees. Learn how to prune, plant, harvest, and care for the ever-growing abundance of trees on our property.

Green Feast

Join us as we celebrate our local chefs, farmers, purveyors, and community through a beautiful farm-to-table meal. Volunteer roles may include guest check-in, serving, parking, docent leaders, scullery, setup and clean up. Our team of volunteers is integral to the success of this event!

Farm Fridays

Friday mornings a small, dedicated group takes to the fields. Whether we are gleaning, harvesting, planting, or weeding, our organic crop enthusiasts learn about what it takes to keep our 28-acre regenerative farm thriving.

If you're interested in a committed volunteer team, email our volunteer coordinator at [email protected]!

Propagation Team

This concentrated team cultivates every plant on our farm and front acre. From seed to sale, learn what it means to raise a plant from the start!

Garden Club

On Thursdays, dig in deep with our Garden Coordinator and help to manage the front acre greenery. Learn how to care for southern California natives, edible plants, and garden spaces!

Event Servers

One of the most beautiful ways we show up for our community is in serving our farm-fresh food at lunches and dinners. We believe the best conversations happen around the table. Help us make these magical nights possible!
