The Ecology Center depends on our dedicated volunteer community to help us get the job done. There are many ways to get involved!


As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to dig in deep to sustainable living. From helping tend to our beautiful grounds to manning our many events, being a volunteer for The Ecology Center is about community, collaboration, and creation. We’re so grateful for our volunteers and their dedication to making The Ecology Center an abundant space to learn and grow, as well as for your support in sharing our message that simple solutions make big change. 15 Hours

Receive a complimentary Membership at the Individual Level.

25 Hours

Receive a free workshop of your choosing at the Basic level.

35 Hours

Receive a free workshop of your choosing at the Advanced level.


Facilities Maintenance
On a case by case basis

Help with the upkeep of our historic farmhouse, learning exhibits, and more.

Garden Upkeep
Wednesdays, 10 am - 12 pm and 3:30 pm - 5 pm

Help us maintain our veggie beds, native gardens, and fruit orchards. Activities include pruning, planting, composting, chicken care, and general garden maintenance.
