|1 pint||fresh strawberries, topped and quartered|
|1 cup||freshly squeezed lemon juice|
Heat the water and sugar in a small saucepan and stir until the sugar is completely dissolved to make a syrup. Combine the strawberries with the syrup in a blender and blend until smooth.
Combine with the freshly squeezed lemon juice and serve over ice.
Garnish with mint or basil!
